Most Helpful Positive Review PJBS762/39: AimSports 7.62X39mm Laser Bore Sighter, Bronze PJBS762/39
Great Laser Bore sighter. Pros: very easy to use. Cons: None
Most Helpful Negative Review Does not fit
Does not fit all 9mm's. I bought it to sight in my Ruger SR9c and the slide would not close all the way, therefore, the barrel was unable to lock in. Pros: Well made product Cons: Does not fit all 9mm's

9mm boresighter

by James, from ND, United States Written on January 16, 2023
Do not purchase their 9mm boresighter! The portion that is the laser is where a slug would be and is much smaller than the casing. Mine appeared to be siliconed in place and was not at all centered within the diameter of that casing and more importantly it was visibly crooked with the naked eye. Lasers are used to achieve a level of attempted perfection - crooked, not centered and siliconed in place is an astonishing level worthy of the town dump only
Pros:
  • Good communication from Aimright
Cons:
  • Do not buy their 9mm boresighter! The laser is where a slug would be and it is smaller than the casing by quite a margin - mine appeared to be siliconed in place and was not centered and also visibly crooked to the naked eye - additionally noticed that it
  • Poorly engineered - limited range of laser
Best Used for:
  • nothing

garrrbage dont buy

by g-king, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on April 22, 2022
dont buy. garbage. wouldnt even properly fit with the chamber closed. if you know a 9mm, the barrel isnt in position on a 1911 to a walther until the chamber is closed. buy a simple laser sight if you feel the need to spend the money. measure out 30 feet in your house and then match with your irons. This doesnt change with a ar-15 of any caliber. Pull the rear pins and measure out 30 feet and bore sight it. then match your scope accordingly. IE an eotech, bottom of the circle should be at 21 feet.

Cheap. One or two time use product

by Choadempole, Verified Owner from WV, United States Written on November 11, 2020
Price is right, quality is NOT. DIRECTLY out of the package it's broken. I fiddle with it for an hour and repair it. Works for about 2 mins, THEN, included batteries DIE.So I Run out to the store, get new batteries, put new batteries in, screw together, AND it breaks again in another spot. Another hour repair with super small tools and I get Get it working again. Insert it into the bore, sight bore, remove. Place gently into included carry case. Went shooting. Bore sight actually got me on paper first shot. So at least it works. The next week, I purchase a new gun, same caliber. Get out the trusty bore sight, breaks a 3rd and final time upon me attempting to turn it on. I sent it flying right into the river never to be seen from again. Some fish proly got ahold of it and it broke on him some more.
Pros:
  • Cheap, works but just once.
Cons:
  • Junk.
Best Used for:
  • Fishing Lure

Aim bore sight . 223 rem cartridge

by ALLEN, from GA, United States Written on April 15, 2020
Bought one and it sucked but I thought maybe I busted it so I ordered a second one. Same problem. Laser gave a res sot the size of a pie plate. Cleaned the barrel really well... Same problem. I will never buy another one of their products

Buyer Beware

by Mike Jergens, Verified Owner from IA, United States Written on March 18, 2020
This did not work in my Springfield XD9 MOD.2. Other reviews show Glock pistols as another one it will nor work in. Suggest that you check with the manufacturer for your specific model before ordering. Aside from the fit issue, the laser worked fine and seems OK at this price point.

Does not fit Glock 19, 17, or 26

by Jeff, from VA, United States Written on May 5, 2019
Tried it in glock 26 (which was already sighted in) and at about 20 ft the dot was about 2ft low and to the right of the target. Yes I said TWO FEET at ONLY twenty feet. also it seems like it doesn’t sit straight in the bore because the laser looks like its reflecting off the inside of the bore. So either i have 3 bent glock barrels or a $&@! bore sight. I think I’ll point the finger at the cheap bore sight. Dont waste your money.
Pros:
  • Comes with batteries. Thats about it
Cons:
  • everything
Best Used for:
  • Would make a decent laser pointer for presentations

Ak47 bore laser sight

by Mike, from FL, United States Written on March 28, 2017
You get what you paid for nothing extra. It does it's job but the batteries aren't that strong and don't last long and they're not your common battery so you have to special order if you run out. But it is easy to use and bright.

Ron Saylor

by Ronnie Saylor, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on November 29, 2016
bought this to sight in a seven MM round for a new rifle, with the thought this would pay for itself first day on the range, mounted scope put laser into the bore and closed the bolt, now I am up north in the woods getting ready to walk out and site in after a bore site and look at the laser dot was so weak I had to slide my work table about six inch's from my garage wall to see the red dot. total piece of junk, had to take weapon to local range to sight it weapon and more rounds wasted plus time I did not have to waste. save your money!!!

waste of money

by disappinted, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on November 21, 2016
Worked once then no more. Made sure it was working before going to the range and got a rough site in. Then at the range put the same batteries back in and nothing. Spent 20 minutes trying to get it to work again and was just wasting time. Definitely do not waste your time or money on this product.
