don't buy it it's garbage.. you need to drill in to the receiver.. it's not good. I'll return mine..

you get what you pay for
I bought this expecting it to at least stand up to the mosin's powerful 7.62x54R. For those just skimming the reviews, I'll just put save your money for a better mount. For those interested, it is more trouble than it's worth. Gotta pay a lot of attention to even align it with the barrel on installation, the screws started becoming loose not even one stripper clip through. It see-saws no matter how tight you mount it. Definitely not recommended.
