great butt pad

This thing looks like it always belonged on my Mosin Nagant. The old stock had a steel plate for a buttpad. My shoulder is still sore from using it last week! What a difference this one makes. So comfortable and reduced the recoil quite a bit.

ouch butt pad

Does not fit my M38 well. Had to put it to the grinding wheel. Will work to lengthen pull, but it's hard as a rock & will not reduce felt recoil. Shipping was fast enough. Well made, just way too hard.

Mosin recoil pas

Good product, I drilled the vent holes all the way to give it more cushion. Went on easy, fit great with out any sanding on the rifle or the pad. Fair price. And It shipped quickly. It's a little stiff and could be softer to absorb more recoil. It looks good, and although not original it doesn't make the rifle look hacked up altered or as some of the guys in the Mosin groups say "Bubba ed.
