Low Profile Riser mount Review
Bought the High, Medium & Low profile Riser sets to try out for my AR flat top with the Red Dot mounted on a pair of Low Riser (yes you need to buy two) and the LOW profile worked best to allow me to co-witness the iron sights (using a flip up rear) on my BSA red dot. Fit was tight and well machined.
The High Profile fit well and got the Red dot sight nice and high but was not high enough to see the irons sights through the riser and the medium sights would allow co-witness on a fixed rear sight through the glass but just barely (not the best sight picture). Low profile riser worked acutally perfect placing the iron sights and the red dot in line with each other with the rear flip up 'up' and was completely out of the way when down.
The mount gets a 3 on the features only because it takes two of them to mount a scope or red dot sight. Overall great product.
