If all you need is the forward assist and spring, but not the roll pin, this is a perfect fit for that need. At the price point, you will be hard put to find another of decent quality. It's sturdy, fills the hole perfectly and works exactly as expected. It ain't pretty, but it works.
Pros:
- inexpensive, yet fills that hole
Cons:
- pretty plain looking. whatever.
Best Used for:
- filling that totally unnecessary forward assist hole.
