This is my 4th purchase of the Atibal Mirage. I own one other OPMOD and 2 of the black versions. All of these have been purchased while on sale and short of the really cheap units, this one is perfect. It punches well above its weight class! I've seen vids that decry the 1-10 units due to distortion at the highest power, but everyone seems happiest at this 8X power range. Ease of use for the Mirage is just right for me, sets to zero easily and holds that without issue. The diamond reticle around the 1/2MOA dot is especially comfortable for me.
The one complaint I have is specifically with the OPMOD version. When they painted the FDE color on it, they totally covered any and all indicators--1-8X power ring as well as the values of the illumination. Neither is critically important for me, but it does make it a bit disconcerting when hunting down your illumination level!!! As to the power ring, I typically go from 1X directly to 8X with that excellent post that is included, so not of critical importance in actual use.
All in all, this is a great unit for short-to-medium range optics. Watch for sales and pick it up as you are able. BTW, keep an eye out in DVOR as well, since those sales can be amazing!!!

This is my 2nd Enforcer handguard and I find it to fit my needs exactly. It butts up against the upper just a little funky (not straight flat like most do), but it looks great, installs easy and is sturdy beyond my needs.

I ran into a small problem. When I received the shipment from OpticsPlanet, I found the barrel nut had not been included in the box. This is not OP's fault, just an oversight on the manufacturer. I called Timber Creek Outdoors and they sent me a fresh new barrel nut and a package of the screws for the handguard within a week. GREAT service. Optics Planet is my goto place for purchases due to prices, and they would have replaced the unit without issue, but I decided to go with the manufacturer on this and am totally satisfied.

This is not my first rodeo, er...handguard, so I know what it's supposed to do. The Timber Creek Enforcer does it quite well and looks good doing so. I purchased the 9" version so the gas block would stand out just beyond the end of the 'guard (16" barrel, mid length gas port) and it does exactly that! HOWEVER, imagine my surprise when I opened the box to find the handguard, but there was no barrel nut!!! I've contacted Timber Creek and they're sending one (hope to receive it soon) and all will be good. I could have contacted OpticsPlanet and they would have replaced the whole unit without a problem, I know, but this was the manufacturer's mistake and they are making good, so I'm happy. The missing barrel nut is the only reason for 4 stars and not 5. Otherwise, it's exactly what I needed.

When the idiots at the AFT decided that most AR pistols could no longer be pistols, I chose the easy way out and purchased this buffer tube. My pistol IS a pistol and will continue to function as such. Now, if those idiots ask me, I can honestly say it's a pistol by their own definition and I can go on using it as such. Fits beautifully on my fde lower and the tan color is close enough to call it good. Now, to take it out shooting...

I purchased a couple of these handles for my various builds and have found the quality to be lacking. I'm not particularly miffed over the finish wearing quickly and I haven't seen the warping others have experienced, but my own problem is the latch. The handle functions correctly for the most part, but every time the magazine goes empty, the charging handle flips off its latch and pokes me in the face! It would seem the latch is not strong enough to hold it during full function. I've not had this problem with any other of my charging handles. Once again, you get what you pay for and this is not one I can recommend.

I've built several ARs and this last one was just as fun to build as the first. This Trybe handguard is a pretty good low cost option that will offer you a decent quality very light rail to work with almost any barrel you may choose. I easily fit an adjustable low profile gas block (Aero Precision) inside it. I like the fact that the Picatinny rail is a cut-away, leaving out the unnecessary extra weight the center rail would entail. The barrel nut is strong and gave me no trouble with fitting the barrel to the receiver. I have seen other comments that addressed a possible need to secure the guard to the barrel nut a bit better by grooving where the fasteners should be and I agree with this. Also, positioning tabs for fitting the guard to the receiver would be nice. But, for the price, you won't be disappointed with the install, you just have to take a bit more time being sure of your work. I buy black parts since I also paint the whole gun and the unit cleaned easily and took the paint just fine--looks great.

All in all, I do recommend this handguard unless you are willing to put out at least double the price to match it.

I have purchased and installed several of these very nice ambidextrous safety switches and am surprised at the negative reviews I see here. I have had no issues whatsoever with mine. I've tried 45 degrees on switches before and never appreciated it, switched back to 90 degrees and have been happy. I've only used 90 on these, so I can't really address those complaints, but I've found this inexpensive switch to fit my needs perfectly. They look great, feel great and while they require a short break-in period of a few flips, I haven't had any other issues with them. There are multiple colors for anyone who wants some contrast on their lowers and they look sharp! Worth your money.

If all you need is the forward assist and spring, but not the roll pin, this is a perfect fit for that need. At the price point, you will be hard put to find another of decent quality. It's sturdy, fills the hole perfectly and works exactly as expected. It ain't pretty, but it works.

I just received and installed my 3rd set of this kit and believe it to be the most comfortable stock and grip I own! I originally purchased the ghillie green and was so pleased by its coloring and its fit to the build that I immediately asked for the red lava as a Christmas present and got it. ;) Last week in a frenzy to make one more AR build, I ordered the gray model and received it Monday and installed it immediately. All 3 have been great, fit extremely well (some might say too snug to the buffer, but not so IMO) and the Hogue overmold is tacky goodness. If you are looking to get a stock and grip that not only work well for your build, but also look great, this is the one for you! Don't hesitate, get it now. BTW, this was for my mil-spec build. If you have the commercial buffer, there is another model to fit that. :D

I have long been a fan of Hogue overmoldings, have a Ruger 10/22 stock in this as well as multiple AR15 grips. When I saw this kit, I instantly wanted to try them out and got the ghillie green and loved it. With my next build, I purchased the red lava kit and found it to be just what I wanted to bring out the browns in my paint job and as a difference to the ghillie green rifle. I love them both and highly recommend the kit to anyone who wants a snug fitting stock (yes, it fits snug on the buffer) for their AR15. The grip is a fair amount fatter than a standard grip, but that is my strong preference. The overmold is STICKY!!! If you like a solid grip, this is the one for you. There are also multiple QD holes and slots for slings, so no worries there.

As to colors, that is always in the eye of the beholder. I personally like the ghillie green and red lava for their textured, understated colors. I would appreciate if Hogue would see fit to add in a dirty brown in the same style. FDE is just too plain, IMHO. They have a slate gray and I'm considering that for my next build, but if they came out with (my name for it) a dirty brown, I'd grab it in a heartbeat.
