Great Fit for Benelli Nova 12 Ga
Bought this to mount a Simmons 1.5-5x Shotgun Scope on my Benelli Nova 12 gauge. Installation was simple: remove the trigger guard fixing pins, using a little oil (to minimize scratching) slide the saddle mount into place, secure using the included screws and some loctite, and check that you can cycle the gun (i.e., you may have over-tightened the screws). After installing the saddle mount, I added a set of UTG Universal Picatinny/Weaver Rings, mounted the scope, and was ready for the range. Bolt came stripped
The rear bolt that came with it was stripped. It would not even thread into the mount. The threads were flat and the outer diameter of the bolt was smaller than the inner diameter of the hole. I cannot use this mount. Wish I had of checked the bolt before painting the mount so I could return it. Also as an FYI, no this will not fit a Benelli Super Nova. The super Nova is wider

Stripped screw out of the box
I got a ASM-23 scope mount for my Benelli nova. Looks great and feels like it is high quality. But the rear screw is stripped and the mount is stripped at the rear position. Either it came from the factory this way or optics planet sold me a return or something. I don’t doubt it came this way from the factory considering the phone number and email Adress on the instructions are no longer available. Super sketchy. Luckily I’m pretty much a machinist so I can fix it myself. The actual mount does feel really nice tho. Doesn’t look like the picture at all.

Quality and stable
This is a quality product. Their customer service is excellent. The finish is high quality, the hardware is high quality, it installs easily, and it is stable. My one problem is that the “notches” in the rail are not standard, not all optics will attach. It’s still something I’d recommend if you want an optic on your shot gun.
