Most Helpful Positive Review A Work of Art
I’m all about function, especially when it involves my firearms. And I suspect that this item will do just fine. But I also purchased it because of its design, finish, shape … etc. It really adds some “cool bling” to an already badass Wilson Combat rifle. I can’t wait to show it off at the range...

Most Helpful Negative Review Soft metal
I installed this break on my wife’s 6mm ARC this weekend and the metal was way way soft. The edges of the break folded over and twisted into the baffles. It looked cool when it was hand tight but after timing and torquing the break the thing looks like a bag-o-smashed a$$.

I recently ordered the airborne arms muzzle brake for my AR15 300 BLK in March 2021. The barrel is a 16” Wilson Combat threaded 5/8”x24. I did not need modifications done to have installed. I brought it to my local gun shop that is very reputable to have installed professionally. The same day the gunsmith called me telling me there was a problem with the brake but he had it installed. I arrived and the brake had small scoring, scratches, from where the wrench made contact. In my opinion, I do not think a steel brake should ever scratch with hand tools and strength. The brake also has too small of edges for a wrench to tighten properly. If I were you I would not attempt yourself and explain this to the professional gunsmith before he installs for your firearm. The good: The airborne arms muzzle came with many shims for installation. I put only 200 rounds through it over last two weeks because ammo prices are awful and I could tell a reduction in recoil but this brake is strictly, in my opinion, for looks. I think it will do fine on my AR but if you are looking for real performance I would look at different brands.
Pros:
  • comes with shims
Cons:
  • Soft material
  • minor recoil reduction
  • short edges for wrench to fit around
  • Have to profesionally install
Best Used for:
  • Looking at and if you like shiny
