This was the last piece of the puzzle for my P365 build. I don't have the largest hands (L-XL depending on brand of glove), but I found that with the XL grip and an extended mag release there was a risk of me dropping the mag on the draw. So, after doing some research, I decided to grab the offset mag release from AT. I honestly wish I had known about this ages ago, because it feels just right.
You can safely get higher on the grip without worrying about popping a mag out, and that leads to faster draw times for me.
I would say the only con is that it might move the release out of reach for small hands, and it does end up going behind the sweatguard on my holster, but even when I really try, I can't drop a mag. For some, it may be worth dremeling their holster for piece of mind.
