Michael's Review of Align Tactical M&P 2.0 Thumb Rest Takedown Lever
I bought this and installed it. Installation was relatively simple and the ergonomics suits my hands well (medium-large sized gloves) and feels natural to utilize.
You can absolutely see a difference with getting back on target more quickly than without it. I would use standard power recoil springs however as lower power springs may dip the muzzle lower because of the extra leverage you're getting from the thumb rest.
The only complaint I have which is to be known when installing any part that hangs off the side of your pistol is holsters may not work. There is a list of holster makers from Align'a website that support this thumb rest. Fits my Safariland lvl 3 retention holsters fine however. It can also be a possible snag hazard but I've not noticed anything getting snagged on it.
Solid construction too. It feels like steel, not aluminum.
