I ordered a 36" case last year and it actually measured 36.5" on the inside. I have had issues with the VISM cases measuring about 2" shorter than advertised.
I like the "cut" of these cases better than the VISM cases. The Allen cases are "taller" at the muzzle end, so it allows a rifle with a bipod on it to fit better than the VISM cases that are cut to more of a point at the muzzle end.
