Binocular Review

I was looking for the perfect binoculars to watch horseracing. My trainer recommended the Alpen Apex 12 X 50 499 binoculars. I ordered them online from OpticPlanet and received them in a timely fashion. They are truly great for watching all the action up close. About the only think I do not like is the caps to protect the lens at the end of the binoculars stays attached and dangle from the binoculars. Other than that they are great.
Pros: Fantastic for watching horseracing close up
Cons: caps to cover lens cannot be removed
Would recommend: Yes
