Useful review for decision making - Alpen Apex XP 6-24x50mm SF 30mm Water Proof Rifle Scope, Matte Black

I've shot a lot in competition so there are a few things I look for in a scope: clarity and brightness. Absolutely there in this scope! Other items: the clicks on this scope DO register 1/8 MOA at 100 yards which is very important if you need your scope to be accurate. On this model the crosshairs are exactly the correct thickness so that they don't cover up the intended target, and the Tactical reticle is arranged in MOAs which is extremely useful for wind corrections. This is a terrific instrument and priced very competitively with other scopes which are actually inferior to it; why pay more for a scope that doesn't work nearly as well as the Alpen? This scope is a steal in today's marketplace. And, AND, check out the warranty, if ever you should need it! WOW!
