Another brand I had before the Alpen would darken up at higher powers and I had trouble getting a clear view. The Alpen is far better and above average in zoom binoculars. I used them during the hunting season and all my friends told me they were impressed with the clarity. I'm glad I took the chance on a name I didn't know. Highly recommended.
Pros: Great clarity at highest power.
