Alpen Rainier 20-60x80 HD ED

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on May 21, 2012
I'm very happy with this scope. The view seems almost brighter than that of the naked eye. The clarity is a joy to behold. At maximum magnification the range of focus is very narrow so you tend to use it a lower magnification. I think this is typical of a zoom scope. It does stay reasonably bright at max mag.
The focus knob is long, you can get two fingers on it and its easy to turn.
I have never been disappointed with Optic Planet service.
Pros: Crisp bright view
