Alpen Spotting Scope Padded Case
The delivery via Optics Planet was great. My only disappointment is that the product fits a bit SLOPPY on the model 788, obviously because it's made to 'universally' fit several scope models. Though the case extends an inch or so beyond the scope barrel, it does not inhibit the scopes field of view, and thus is usable, though a tighter fit would look more 'professional'.

Scope Padded Case
It does what it supposed do, but it has one major flaw its longer than the scope itself make difficult to removed the objected lens cover. Need be shorten tab bit. Plus tight fitting over the scope. Padding will protected scope against any bump or scrapes.

Excellent Custom Case!
This case is perfect for the Alpen Rainier. Extra pockets on the case for other accessories like lens cleaners and camera rings, etc...
