Don’t listen to the ignorant.
This is an Un-captured guide rod. It works. It works very well. Unless some numbskull chooses to use it against God’s intentions. With some practice and patience, this set up is an easy installation. The previous Bozo is only mad at himself. Ignorant of other guide rod variations. It works and it’s affordable. Just do your research humans. And use spell check when reviewing an item.
Pros:
- I like that it functions like a guide rod.
Cons:
- It made a pass at my wife.
Best Used for:
- Returning the slide into battery.

How the Heck are you supposed to Capture the Spring !!
The rod is nice and shiny and machined well, however the Capture port isn't threaded. The kit doesn't come with a Capture PIN/SCREW/BOLT... What the heck am I supposed to use just some Loctite and a custom Capture Bolt. This would have been a great buy if it came captured. As of right now its just a useless metal rod. Don't wast your money, you'll end up sending it back like I did.
