More money to fix it than initial purchase price
Do not buy this BCG! You will spend more money fixing it than the purchase price. The one I got has an ejector well that is too shallow, thus bending the ejector & spring it came with. Quality control should have caught this, but maybe that is why it was so cheap.

Perfect BCG. No short strokes.. When coupled with the Odin Works adjustable buffer, makes any issues with your new build a non-issue.

Well Made 308 Bolt Carrier Group from Alpha Shooting Sports
The fit and finish are slick, looks really really good. Surface had no machine marks that I could see. Very good BCG for the price. I somehow misplaced my firing pin when I was cleaning it and I contacted Alpha Shooting Sports for a replacement and they sent me out one ASAP. I have run Winchester and Federal ammunition with it and had no problems. 500+ rds and still going smooth. I recommend this BCG for your DPMS1 pattern 308.

I recommend Alpha Shooting Sports quality AR products. Great price for an excellent Bolt Carrier Group. The coating is slick and cycles smooth in my rifle. I broke it in using slick2000 and the fouling came off easy.

AR-10/308 Bolt Carrier Group ALPHA
I purchased the Alpha Shooting Sports 308 Bolt Carrier Group for another one of my uppers and it works flawless. I had issues from another manufacturer BCG and returned that one. The finish is exceptional. With the good price right now, I will be buying another one as a backup.

Works as it should
My 2nd Alpha BCG and it worked like a champ. Needed it to finish my 308 build and so far I have 100 rounds through it. The forward assist notches are a nice touch as my other 308 bcg from another manufacturer doesn't have them.

huge value
For the price this .308 BCG is an amazing value. I’ve used a handful on builds for myself as well as a few custom builds. Great machining, zero issues. I’m a fan of Alpha Shooting Sports and find their uppers & parts to always be outstanding for reliability & value.

extractor problems
.308 can be a finicky build. After time and time again of replacing parts that I thought was the problem, it only frustrates me more that it was my bolt carrier this whole time. The extractor let's go of the casing mid way through it's cycle.
