Most Helpful Positive Review Worth the extra money
I just returned a boron-nickle coated BCG from another company, which I had bought from another online retailer -- it turned into a nightmare, and this was a fairly well known sight. Word of caution: look to be sure that retailer even HAS a return policy, as this one had a policy of NO returns! I ended up replacing that one with a BCG from American Built Arms. Planet Optics gave me a good price, and I am 100% satisfied. The BCG is well-finished, no mistakes in machining, and it slides up and down inside the upper as smooth as glass, and the company supports American workers. I was so impressed...

Disappointed with quality

Comes in unmarked package. Carrier itself has lots of rough machining marks. Coating already had a bit of rust on the bottom of the Carrier. Bolt actually looks really nice. But no mpi test markings. Ive seen better quality with psa or aero.

i LOVE this , so many bcg's to choose from i inspected this completely upon recieving it and everything was flawless. feels like butter compared to the factory one..

This bcg is worth mentioning, dont fall for all the hype on YouTubers promoting paid sponsors, nothing gets better than american made and to top it off the quality goes without mentioning. SS. Underdog rising. Please review and google the quality that you can afford

Super Smooth

This BCG is very nicely built and really smooth. Drop it in and you can tell the difference, it's noticeable. It's apparent that it is made with very high quality material and really upgrades the feel of your build. I would buy more from this company in the future, you can tell they take attention to detail seriously.

I bought this to go with my Ballistic Advantage 10.3" (300 Blackout) Hanson Barrel, Performance Series barrel and I couldn't be more satisfied. Used with Sig Sauer 300blk 125gr ammo and I've never had one problem.

Nickel Boron Niceness

American Built Arms makes some nice products. Their Pro 5.56 BCG feels right coming out of the box and then fitting into the upper receiver. It engages the barrel and gas tube smoothly and cycles cleanly. The sum of the parts makes a difference, so my build included a nickel boron trigger to keep it all smooth. Quality BCG at a very good price point.

Fantastic BCG

I have always been a brand loyalist. In the past, all of my AR style rifles have used only, Sharps Rifle Company BCG's. They have never failed me, ever. Then one day, I saw these and for the price, I lost my mind a purchased one. And I'm glad I did. These things are sweet! Solid build quality, properly staked gas key, gorgeous shine, and super slick Nickle Boron makes for smooth cycling and an easy clean up. I now have two rifles running these BCG's.

Precision where it counts!

I bought this BCG to replace my worn out stock S&W BCG. After the first 1000 rounds I can say this has durability and quality built right in. Impressed with the smooth action it provides as well. It seems like it will be around for the long haul. The price wasn't jaw dropping expensive. Very happy with my buy. I might grab another!

Good tooling alright staking

I had high hopes with this ab bcg, the bcg and bolt itself are high quality and machined very well. I don’t feel comfortable with the gas key staking and will now have to buy a staking jig and gas key and restake the bcg. I will update when I complete the restaking and add a phosphate gas key.
