Excellent Scout Light Mount
I love this mount. It's my new go to mount when I want to mount a Surefire Scout Light to my rifle. Now, I've learned that it'll work on my shotgun as well. It has the right angle to put the light so that you can mount it behind your front sight and the light head clears even the widest of BUIS like the Diamondhead. Yet, it still has the space saving "tucked in" look to the light. Buy it, you won't regret it.
stripped with under 15 inch pounds on the larger mount screw
Not sure if I got a lemon or what, but either the mounting screw wasn't threaded properly or it was used, but it stripped the threads in under the light torque of 15 inch pounds.
Would recommend: No
looks and feels great
made very well and to last easy to use, and looks very well clean and smooth should last a life time and then some.

Light mount
I purchased this product and the one I got wasn't the one on the picture. However, the 45 degree mount I received worked just as well.

Nice angled mount but kind of big
This mount is really nice for Modlite weapon lights but if you don’t have a full quad rail it is also kind of large and obtrusive. Still a very solid mount and if you have a full quad rail you will not be disappointed!
