Great for an ar pistol - American Defense Manufacturing QD Swivel MOD 3 Offset Rail Mount

I wanted to mount a streamlight TLR1 on a DD MK18 10.3 upper, but I wanted to put the switches at the 10 o'clock position. This was one of the only mounts I saw that did so with a smooth mounting surface and could fit the light into the empty space of the rail instead of being outside of it.
Works well so far. It's made from a solid aluminum and the screws are good quality. It's pricey for the purpose, but it does exactly what I wanted. Still, price point loses a star.
I don't imagine it would hold an advantage for carbine or longer rifles over other brands, even Daniel Defense is cheaper. Just pistols. The other reason I gave it 3 stars and not 5 is that this is made by Gear Sector, and not American Manufacturing. Gear Sector's site is down and makes me think these parts may not have a lot of support anymore. I accidentally ordered one of their scout mounts, and figured I'd just order a rail slot to make it the same as this. No joy.
