Made of plastic not metal
Feeding mechanism is plastic not metal. Squirrels and coon chewed the brackets and the feeder actually fell off of the barrel. Need to be made of metal !! i would shop for a feeder that is more durable. I hesitate to buy another plastic feeding mechanism since I think the same thing will happen. The shock varmint accessory obviously is not very effective. After it discharges the critters can work on the plastic trying to get to the corn.
