EPIC SLIDE FOR BUILDS!!!
Every piece during Install of internal parts was smooth and perfect. I do not share photos of my weapons. But it is a good looking slide, very affordable upgrade. It’s a worth the investment. The optics cuts are perfect.

The slide is good quality. The only part that will disappoint you is the thread hole for the optic. I got a vortex viper red dot for this particular slide which the slide says it will fit the red dot. It fits perfect into the slot but the vortex viper screw won’t thread inside the slide. Wrong Mounting Screws - Trigger Feel Changes
Not impressed with this slide, initially. As others have mentioned, don't expect to mount your red dot without an additional email to ATA customer service. My slide is cut for a Vortex Venom and the supplied screws aren't even close....
Additionally, this slide changes the feel of the trigger. I have an APEX kit installed on my Glock 19 Gen 4 and it's smooth as butter with the factory slide. When I move the kit's plunger and plunger spring over to the ATA slide, the trigger grit returns as well as a noticeable increase in the trigger pull....the two exact things I was trying to IMPROVE with the Apex kit!!!
This slide is natively compatible with a Gen 3, but accommodates Gen 4 frames with a Gen 3 parts kit and recoil spring. I have a feeling this mismatch might be the reason for the trigger feel.

update on my last review
ATA reached out and messaged me about the issue i was having and they are sending me the correct screw for my red dot. Customer service was amazing just a low blow to having the red dot on my carry pistol right now.

incorrect holes for red dot i requested
I ordered a slide that had an optic cut for the vortex viper red dot i get my red dot finally go into the house to put it on and the screws are completey different the holes line up but the threads are wrong as well. Absolutely dissapointed at this happening almost $400 slide and this happens. Now i have to go to a gunsmith and get it threaded and find screws that fit and spend even more monry than i wanted to.

Optic Cut It Out
Received the slide and put it together with the Cross Armory Standard Upper Parts Kit for Gen 3 Glock 19/P80 kit I purchased from Optics Planet. Very easy to assemble and quality products. The slide seems very substantial HOWEVER... it is supposed to be cut for the Vortex Venom Optic like the order stated. The screw holes are too small for the optic and need to be tapped to fit them.
Unfortunately, my tap broke when I was tapping the second hole and is now stuck inside the slide hole rendering it useless for the optic. If they say it is cut for a specific optic, it should be. I cannot recommend a product that doesn't say it will do what it is supposed to do.

Product Review
I received my slide last week. Slide is of decent quality, machining is slightly off at the rear back plate. There is no channel liner installed as an FYI. I also ordered the optic cute infill plate but the infill plate did not fit. Hoping they send me the wrong infill plate and not the wrong slide with cut. We will see as I just submitted an exchange.

Nice slide but can't install the OPMOD Venom out-of-the-box
Took two tries at this. First, the wrong color was sent. Had to return at my expense. Re-ordered and received the correct one, which is a nice looking slide. I went with the OD green to go with a FDE frame and also bought the OPMOD tan Vortex Venom reflex site. All the green and tan looks really sweet together, except like the other reviewer mentioned, the screws that come with the Venom are longer than the corresponding holes on the slide and therefore can't be tightened down all the way. The continuing frustration is annoying. Now after hundreds spent and delays due to wrong product the first time, I've got the hassle of figuring out how to get shorter compatible screws before I can use all this.

vortex viper does not bolt up
Works great, i made my own screws to fit the cut out for a viper red dot. Ive heard the others fit, for some reason they used a course tap instead of a machine thread. Ive also heard you can retap them, but that seams like a last ditch effort in my opponion. Think it was a light switch cover plate screw that i used, then milled to length and head size. Work and looks great now though.

Great for price! No complaints and it has a very durable coating. I would recommend this if you’re not looking to spend a lot of money on a good build. Otherwise get a color not so matte. No Issues with the build or with shooting. Barrel also from Opticsplanet.com

great looking slide
The slide looks great on my Glock 19 Gen3 especially with the optic mounted. The front serrations are great for press checks. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is creating a new build or looking to add a slide to an existing lower.
