Do not buy this it is complete junk! - American Tactical Imports AR-15 Mag Well Adapter, 9mm, Glock

I bought this with the expectation to convert a normal AR lower to take 9mm glock magazines with the 9mm upper. Which is what the device is supposed to be built for. Unless I received a defective one the magazine release on the bottom of the device will not engage to drop the magazine. I took the adapter out of the AR and the sharp pen like lever on the bottom of the adapter that is supposed to breach the mag release will not release the magazine in or out of the gun. The magazine sent won't even come out or go into the adapter that was sent.Let me top off that this product has been on backorder for me since January and it is now the end of September. I was all for the wait if this product worked but it appears that it has been a complete waste of the $110 and a wait of almost 10 months. Stay away and don't buy this piece of garbage.
