After purchasing a secondhand Glock 48 with what appeared to be Ameriglo Hackathorn sights, I noted that it was hitting consistently 6 to 8 inches high at 15 yards with multiple loads. This was the shortest rear sight I could readily acquire and seems to have fixed the issue when used in conjunction with the Ameriglo H317 marked front sight.

I bought this to install on a Canik TP9 V2. It slid into the dovetail by hand with no force which is most likely NOT a problem with the sight, although it should be noted that these sights do NOT have a set screw feature even though there is plenty of space for one. Mine is the GL-416 which looks like the picture on the current Ameriglo website, NOT the picture here on Opticsplanet (which is what I was hoping for so I'm happy). That is to say, the sight is no wider front-to-rear than the dovetail. There is no rear shelf as it appears in the OP image. Regardless, they appear to be well enough made and work fine. I put a few dimples in the bottom of the sight with a center punch at the edges to push some material outward, which created enough friction that hopefully, combined with red loctite, the rear will stay on. The reason I choose the 42/43 sight for the TP9 V2 is because there is hardly any flat area on the top of the slide on this particular model and most other sights hang off the sides (including the factory sights). The 42/43 sight fits exactly perfectly and looks like it should have been there from the factory.
