Most Helpful Positive Review Great night sight
This sight was snug to install, however very manageable with a sight tool. You need to be careful removing the rear sight as there is a disc that holds the strike safety in, under it. The sight has a nice look to it,although it has a slightly larger groove in the rear sight, which should make it easier to acquire the target quickly. It would have been nice if the description included a life expectancy. The packaging says that there can be a 5, 10 or 12 year life,depending on model without giving you a clue as to which you have. Ameriglo night sights

Great product! Bright in total darkness and very visible in the day. I'd highly recommend this product. High quality fit and finish with the same height and width as the factory sights. Excellent upgrade to the already excellent Smith and Wesson M&P series of guns.

Night Sights

The Ameriglo Green Tritium Night Sight For Smith & Wesson M&P SW-801 is great. I feel everyone should consider good Night Sites, your life might depend on them. not all self defense situations happen in a well lit range or during daylight hours. Being able to see your sights is an advantage for the good people.

The other colors dots may work but fine but I'm happy with all green (the front sight has a white perimeter).
Pros: Much better sight picture than standard M&P sights.
Cons: Tight fit. I used sandpaper and patience.

bright sights

love these, great buy, well worth it for the money, the sight picture is much cleaner than the standard m&p sights, night sights are a must for all handguns

Ameriglo is the best value for the money

Rear sight will not fit the MP shield! Front sight with great visibility even with stock rear sight. Even thought the rear sight is not of use to me I will keep the front sight on the gun due to it's easy acquisition and it is very bright. Ameriglo now makes a rear sight specifically for the Shield. I will preferentially purchase Ameriglo over the other manufacturers
Pros: Front sight is bright and easily acquired
Cons: Rear sight does not fit the shield
