Good sight but….

Bought this to replace an Sig front sight. I have a sight pusher so it should have went fine except for the very very low base plate. The clearance between the slide and the base is so small the pusher had a hard time pushing without coming dangerously close to the slide. It actually slid off the base and up into the sight. No damage but a little thicker would be nice.

Useful for Sig 380

The front sight on my P365-380 seemed weak so I substituted with the Ameriglo. Very happy with the results. I would consider this for some other of my guns. I use an inexpensive sight pusher and had no problem with installation.

Amarillo night sights

I use Ameriglo sights because they have proven to be reliable. I purchased a front sight for each of two new EDC guns.
The Sig factory sights did not work for me, and I would NOT recommend the Sig OEM night sights on the P365X, or P365XL.

Great site.

Really bright, picks up easy in light. The old sights were nowhere near as bright as these. Steel sights are always a plus too. Whenever you need to reload with one hand, you’ll be glad your sights are steel and not aluminum.

Better Than OEM

Replaced SIGSauer OEM sights on an M1-A1 9mm. Noticeable improvement on target acquisition. (Note: requires a universal sight mounting tool.) Easy to install, no modifications to sight or weapon necessary.

Old eyes like this sight

I ordered my Glock 26 Gen 5 with this sight. Loved it so much when I bought my Glock 45 I got the same sight. Then I was hooked and needed one for my Sig P365 and that was this one. Good price, easy transaction and fast shipping. The sight was easy to install and like the title, my old eyes appreciate how easy it is to pick up the front sight initially and for follow up shots. Everyone has their own preferences and this is mine. I'm waiting for a front sight for my Bersa BP9CC which uses a Sig #8. It was back ordered so the gun is in the safe until it arrives. Yes I'm spoiled.

Ameriglo front sight for sig

I put the one with the yellow ring on a Sig P238. It originally came with a TFO front sight that I thought was too long and too high. My POI was too low. I installed this myself using a bench vise and punch set. If your careful you won't do any damage. A caliper ensured it was center. The difference in look and feel and how my POI is now on target was all that I needed to make a great little CCW that much better. I definitely would recommend this product.

My Favorite Sight

This is sight is beyond my expectations. Installed Front sight on My P238 using a sight
tool purchased on eBay for under $40. The Sig Night Sights are nice but I needed a little something
extra for day time . The orange/red ring REALLY POPS during the day. Plus I was surprised how the tritium
matches well with the sig rear night sights.. Went shooting sights remained in place cleaned up well
overall 5 star performance.

  • Quick target aquisition

  • no complaints
