My favorite sights. I did use a gunsmith to install on P229. I have these sights on many pistols, and they are great. I prefer the square notch to the u-notch, so I am glad this one was available. Check the sig numbers if you replace. These are 8 & 8. I highly recommend.

I have several sets of AmeriGlo night sights in various configurations. I bought these sights because I liked the lime color front sight from a prior purchase. The product quality is excellent. The rear sight is serrated on the backside, contrary to other reviews on this site. The sights fit on the gun very well without filing. The sights are fantastic in most lighting, but not so much in pitch black night. This is mostly a quick point and shoot solution at night. For me, sights with rear tritium dots definitely line up better in the dark. This rear sight choice is simply a personal trade-off one must weigh versus having the clutter of rear tritium vials in most common lighting situations.
Pros:
- Product Quality
- fitament
- Visibility of front sight
Cons:
- night visibility of rear sight

Sights are awesome. The colors stand out real nice. The standard sights on the Sig are no match. Easy to install with the proper tools. Would buy again. A must have item. Recommend this item to all sig owners.

The blacked out rear with the bright yellow front works great. Easy to see and shoot accurately with. Huge improvement over glock sights. They seem to be made very well and are very durable. The notch in the rear sight is wider than stock allowing for a much faster follow up shot.

This sight set was put on an older model Sig 220 in 45ACP. The front sight screams for attention while shooting at any level lighting setting. In darkened conditions you still have your bolt tritium glowing. The rear sight is just black, but it is not serrated. You can rack using a table edge with this rear sight. Boot too. If it had serrations I would have given it 5 stars. Overall an impressive sight set.
Pros:
- Clear Sight Picture
- bright tritium

This set has the rear and front. The rear is solid black and AIDS the eye in picking up the Orange bordered tritium front sight. The rear sight ledge could probably be used to rack the slide if under duress. I have to say these are way better then the standard tritium front and rear sights as they came from the factory. These were just the Sig Nights, not the xrays. As for cost very reasonable. I mean I could have paid twice the money for the Trijicons. But this rear sight, blacked out is the way to go for me. We're the rear and front slight serrated I would have given the proud t a 5 star rating.
Pros:
- Price
- Warranty
- Easily installed
- name brand
Best Used for:
- Self defense
- Home Defense

Truly one of the best front sights I have seen and used in a long time. Brings your Focus to the front site with ease. Installation on sig 226 was a breeze. The Sight went in very simply and zero without any problem.

I have tried a number of different mfrs, but these Ameriglo sights are currently working the best for me. As my eyes age I was finding it difficult to quickly pick up the front sight when shooting IDPA. The big bold orange front sight just jumps out and makes it easy to get on target. So far I am loving them.
Pros:
- Easy to install
- Big & bright

I have several Ameriglo night sights, from Glock to Sig to M&P to etc. for the money you can't beat them. The Idot Pro's are my favorite but they don't make them for my Sig 320 45acp. They do make these however and they are just as good as the I-Dots. These installed easy and work great. Kinda wish the rear sight was serrated but it's no biggie. I highly recommend Ameriglo products!
Pros:
- Easy to install
- Affordable
- bright
- Fit and finish.
Cons:
- None
- no rear sight serrations
Best Used for:
- self defence
- Competive shooting
- Low light shooting
- training/range use
