Excellent upgrade for s&w m&p shield - AmeriGlo Smith Wesson Tritium Night Sight, MP Models Pro Glo

This sight is an excellent upgrade for the S&W M&P Shield. Stock height .230 inch and blade width .140 inch so will not change your point of impact. Very easy to see in bright sun, normal lighting, and low light. Tritium insert is well contained and protected. Very fast front sight acquisition with either the stock rear or my much preferred SW-149PR rear sight with larger .164 inch notch. You cannot go wrong with Ameriglo and Opticsplanet's price. My front dovetail was very tight and required a little metal removal from the new sight base to aide installation.
