Makes life easier

If you need to take your Ruger bolt apart you don't necessary need this tool but it sure makes life a lot easier. It was worth every penny.
Pros:
  • Makes taking apart and putting together the American and RPR bolts a breeze
Cons:
  • It's aluminum and can get chewed up easily
Best Used for:
  • Dismantling the bolt

This tool does EXACTLY what it's made to do. It made changing my bolt handle on my Ruger American Ranch rifle very easy. I completed the replacement in under 2 minutes. I tried a flathead and it just didn't work for me.

AO Firing Pin tool

This tool was purchased for use on a Ruger American Ranch and it makes the job of bolt disassembly so much easier. If you plan to replace the bolt handle, it's a very worthwhile investment. The reason for 4 stars is that it is aluminum rather than steel. However, it's a hard aluminum so, it's certainly not a one-time use tool.
