AO designed this rail to use, and provides with it, 6-48 screws. I don't know about other Axis actions, but mine uses 8-40 screws. The holes machined into the rail were too small to use the proper screws. I drilled the holes with an 11/64" bit and mounted it with some new 8-40 screws and it seems to fit great. Placement of the bubble is easily visible right below the scope, very nice. I've used top mount levels which can sometimes hide behind the throw lever, this setup seems more functional.
