The firing was perfect, as for the shroud retainer that was a different story, the retainer would not fit into the firing pin bolt housing as compared to the stock retainer. For the price I paid for this item it should of fit (on to my RPR, 556). I had to use the old stock shroud retainer with the new firing to put the bolt back together.

Description needs updating

Ordered this and it didn't fit. Called Anachy Outdoors and discovered there are two types: old with thin pin and triangular cocker, and new wider pin with square cocker. Mine was a new version rifle so it didn't fit, and Optics Planet does not currently sell the newer version. So at this time this item only fit Gen 1 rifles or older firing pin assemblies. The Anarchy Outdoors website asks which version when ordering this pin assembly.

Exact fit and solid made

This pin is made way better than the factory pin. It should last forever. It is an excellent fit and functions well. Optics planet is always quick to ship although the free shipping uses DHL in conjunction with the post office. And we know how slow they are.
