Used this firing pin for an ar build in 7.62. No issues with both steel and brass ammo. Im 500 rounds in and no hiccups. Would definitely recommend if you are having light strikes or failure to fire.

when you shoot a non-standard ctg at higher altitudes (Me 350 legend AR- platform) saving wieght infire control package is crucial for function. this fits the bill nicely.

I would have light strikes occur in every mag if not multiples per mag even with the drop in velocity trigger designed to fire steel casings. While I could just use brass and not worry about it, the steel casing ammo is plentiful and cheap. The AR47 has now become enjoyable to shoot and something that I would trust my life to. This was the missing link. The gun has seen many upgrades but none as cheap or effective as this.
Best Used for:
- Solving light strikes on berdan primers

One of the best things anyone can do. Worry-free upgrade that takes a couple of minutes, but will outlive and outperform steel.
