The Apex trigger kit is by far the best upgrade for any M&P pistol. Crisp pull and quick audible reset, huge difference when compared to the factory trigger. I installed the kit myself, wasn’t very difficult, just make sure you have the right tools to work with. Plenty of online instructions to guide through the process. I liked it so much I installed another kit in my wife’s Shield.

Great product

Great product. They replaced the talon tactical tool with a flimsy piece of cardboard. Had to hold the plastic spring down with a small punch while reinstalling the rear sight. Other than that install is not super hard as long as you are patient and careful. There are good videos on YouTube to take you step by step.

The kit installed easily on my S&W M+P Shield and is a great improvement over the Custom Works trigger that came with my Shield - the 'Grit' is gone!

Nice and Easy

I bought this trigger to replace the one on my Massachusetts compliant 10.5 pull S&W Shield M&P 9mm. It is "easy ' to install if you have the right size punches to remove the pins holding your gun together. There are also YouTube videos showing exactly what to do. These are a MUST because it is a little tricky. It took me a couple of hours because I was careful and double checked every move. What a difference the trigger made ! I do have a Armalaser and I was very happy at the range. All shots from my 8 round mag were either bullseyes or no further than an inch from it at 8 yards .The trigger was so smooth there was little movement of the laser off the bullseye when squeezing off a round. I'm very happy.

Apex Action Enhanced Red Trigger and Duty/Carry assembly

Definitely a vast improvement over the stock trigger. Comparing the flat trigger to the rounded, I would recommend the flat because it more closely matches the 1911 performance. If you choose to install this yourself, be sure to have the proper tools, workspace and watch several videos before beginning. Don't be afraid to stop and take it to your local gunsmith, if you have problems.

Favorite trigger !

Fantastic Glock trigger and by far the best value. You get a beautifully polished rounded plunger, connector, and trigger bar with shoe. The take up has less travel, crisp break, and predictable short reset. The shoe is the most comfortable I’ve tried to date even though it may not be the most attractive to some. Overall a worthwhile addition to my trusty Gen3 G19.

Simple and straight forward

Another great product from apex. Kits are always straight forward and not too complicated. They have tons of install videos if you get stuck. Kit went in with no issues and the trigger feel is amazing now.

Better than OEM Glock trigger

Used this on my first Polymer 80 build. Trigger pull and reset is way better than OEM Glock trigger. With the flat face, you can get this in and out of the frame even with the locking block in place. For the price, it is the best after market Glock trigger. Specially when you purchase from Optics Planet.

M&P apex trigger

Bought this for my m&p shield and had a armorer install it. Overall the trigger pull and reset changed dramatically to a smooth and crisp trigger. My shots were A LOT tighter at the 25 yard line and am very happy with this purchase. I recommend upgrading to this trigger for the shield.

Shield - Apex Tactical Trigger

I was a little concerned that it was highly suggested to have a Gun Smith install this but after watching a U-tube video (a must for a non Gun Smith) it went in pretty easy. It makes a big difference at the range, less jerking when I pull the trigger. I wish there had been more instruction with the product but I guess a Gun Smith would know what to do. I would have given it 5 stars if not for that.
