I needed .223 green tip/7.62/.308 protection with a 20-year shelf life. The extra weight was worth the trade off for the lighter, brittle ceramic that only has a 5-year shelf life, although their ceramic protects up to 30-06. I also like the FragLock coating to prevent spall. Overall great plates.

These plates work!

I was hesitant to use these plates so I bought a side plate first to shoot and test. I can attest first hand that these plates work and work well. I placed an order shortly after testing for a set of A1 10x12 plates. If you have concerns if these plates will work, you can rest easy. Get a set before the Government decides you cant have them.
