Very well made basic plate carrier
The carrier is very well made and holds steel 10x12 plates easily.It is pretty bulky and isn't concealable. My issue is with the sizing. It is suppose to fit everything from a medium up to 2XL. Well I wear a 2XL shirt( chest 52", waist 40" ) and the carrier will fit me if I am wearing a T-shirt or something similar, but I couldn't get it on over a medium weight jacket. It is very adjustable do to the velcro type straps,but when adjust out far enough for me, there isn't much velcro left to holding the carrier closed.I may try to find an actual 2XL carrier instead of this one.
Good Starter
I'm overall happy with this carrier. I bought this "lite" version due to the price here but it seems like it will do everything I want/need it to do. Shipping was very fast, about 3 days. Feels well made, sturdy, and is pretty comfortable even without the extra padding from the regular version. There are two long strips of loop on the back-side of both panels, so one could probably add extra padding if needed. I'm a tall and skinny kind of guy with a small chest so I'll be replacing the cummerbund with a smaller one eventually. Even with the flaps overlapped I'm still loose inside the vest and it's hard to get the front flap to stay down when worn like this due to the lack of hook/loop. The front kangaroo pouch is secured with a serious amount of the hook/loop so getting it open and installing an insert in there is a challenge but it definitely won't go anywhere once it is.

A lot of taller guys tend to struggle finding a carrier suited for them.

Fits bigger folks
I have seen other reviews that state the carrier maxes out at a XXL. I contacted the company and they informed me I could replace the stretch cord in the back with a longer section and that will allow the plat carrier to adjust upto an almost infinite size. I wear an XXXL and was able to make this work. Carrier is comfortable and wont break the bank. Would buy again.
