Only one problem
I live in Maine. I am on a flat land area where a river and a railroad track funnel north and west winds right up our long driveway and across our fields. I looked for a jacket to wear with snowpants that could stop wind. This jacket is perfect for that. Wind does not go through this unless its well over 20 mph. At that point I'm not out there anyway! However it is not necessarily a warm jacket. I wear a zippered fleece-lined hoody underneath to supply warmth and with the wind stopping capability I've been out in -15F windchill comfortably.
My problem is that after owning this coat for several winters, using it at least three times a day from December through March, the zipper is failing. It's getting worn around the bottom making it hard to put the zipper together and zip up. I would love a zipper from the manufacturer, but am afraid I will have to settle for store bought. The rest of the coat shows no wear, looks new and I rely on it everyday. Highly recommend it.
