Tikka only uses #6 scope screws, not #8 like most use. but they put a large hole for a recoil lug in the top of the receiver. not all rails have provision for this lug. But AREA 419 does. Witout it, a heavy scope might shear the #6 screws under recoil. So be secure and use this rail with lug. Also, you want this 20 MOA rail, not a 0 MOA rail. Or you could run out if scope adjustment if zeroing for long range.
