Most Helpful Positive Review Much better than expected
So, I spend the winter reloading all the ammo needed for the upcoming season. I used an older T-7 press, but I've had small problems with it since I purchased it (ball bearing failure, new heads not matching up perfectly). Long story short, the T-7 finally had a small piece break off, making it unusable. I like turrent presses, and my requirements for a new one was it should be able to handle a minimum of 15-20k reloads per year, as well as be precise enough for my 300wm precision rifle. I knew about the Zero press, but refused to pay 1,200 for something as simple as a basic turrent press....

I have been using a Redding Big Boss 2 for several years, but wanted to try and step up to a turret press. This press is superior to anything I have ever seen, and the quality is absolutely top shelf. If you want to produce the absolute best, and most consistent precision ammo, this press is for you. Expensive? Yes, but you get what you pay for. You’ll never have to replace this. I’m a firm believer in the old saying, “Buy once, cry once”! I have Zero regrets! Optics Planet shipped quickly, and everything arrived with no damage. I highly recommend!
Pros:
  • expensive

Zero Press

Pretty much everything was thought of when they designed this. Bearings everywhere. Tons of room to load the brass into the holder. No play at all.

Great Piece of reloading equipment.

by Austinflier, from TX, United States Written on September 13, 2023
Super smooth and repeatable. Allows me to setup 4 calibers (FL die, and seater) for each, and the 9th slot goes to a dedicated deprimer. The press is solid, and action is smooth as silk. Have ordered the tray and shell holder to go with it. Put on the inline fabrications base, and am ready to go. No more fussing with putting dies in and out…all set all the time
Pros:
  • Quality build and easy to use
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Multiple caliber reloading sessions
