Solid protection - Armageddon Gear Kestrel Pocket

First, a note: This was sold on OP through Kestrel, but was recently discontinued.

Lots of things to like about it. Most importantly, it provides great protection for your several-hundred dollar Kestrel instrument. I like the fact that it’s American made. It fits like a glove.

Several reviews on the original Kestrel page complained about the lanyard not fitting inside the case. They’re wrong; wrap the lanyard around the periphery of your device, orient the device so its curves match those of the case, i.e. the rounded corners on the zipper side, and it fits perfectly.
