I first used the lens on a very dark night. So understandably it was difficult to see just how clear the 5x allowed me to see.
I do know the field of view is very narrow with the 5x so I'm not sure if this is the right lens for my needs. I may need to return it and exchange for the 3x lens. I'll be working with it the next few nights now that the moon is about 1/2 so I can better determine clarity, decide if the FOV is OK or too narrow for sure and then I'll make the call.
