Ive found the CO-Mini Gen 2 on Armasight website and have been hesitating to buy it for rather a long term cause was comparing it with cheaper CO-MR Gen 2 SD which is also an attractive clip-on unit as for me. After thinking about it for some time I finally decided to go with CO-Mini as I managed to try it last weekend on the test point in our local shop. First of all the scope quite corresponds to its mini feature name its very compact and easy mounted. After using it for only a couple of hours I already knew all the functions and controls, it is a very easy to use device. Ive heard before that clarity range of any night scope which is indicated in product specifications is often far from being truth. Luckily the Gen 2 Mini showed that it's not the case for this device. The promised high clarity day/night converting is in fact very nice. Ive searched a lot about NV units construction recently and thanks to CO-Mini Ive got opportunity to evaluate high resolution tubes technology in full. Im sure the CO-Mini will get positive outcomes only.

Recently Ive bought Armasight CO-mini in order to hunt not only during the day time, but also at night, and I have to say that Im impressed. Its incredibly lightweight and compact so I can carry it all day long and then just easily mount it in front of my day time scope which is very important for me! It looks to me that optimal magnification that it should be used with is about 3x - 4x which works great for me, I can hit rabbits and ducks at the distances of 80 150 yards without any problems! I really recommend CO-Mini for everyone who wants to keep their favorite day-time scope on the rifle, and not to switch between day and night sights all the time.
