Fantastic Imager
Review following about 30 days of use:
This is an absolutely phenomenal tool at an incredibly reasonable price point. I absolutely love everything about this device. I hadn't seen or used the Kinetic mount before, and the versatility and usability of it is second to none... I want it on all my other optics. It holds zero across multiple rifles when mounted in the same rail slots, is physically secure, and detaches and reattaches sans tools in seconds. Once the imager is on the rifle, you are treated with (what I think) is one of the best user interfaces on the market. No weird menu contro...

Poor Image Quality
Bottom line; get the Armasight if you want bells and whistles and the Feyachi if you want image quality.
December of 2024 I purchased an entry level thermal, a Feyachi TH-35 384X288. December 2025 I decided to upgrade to a better thermal. I picked the Armasight Contractor 640 2.3-9X35 which Optics Planet had a demo on sale. (Unfortunately for me, demos cannot be returned)
In side by side comparison, the Feyachi provides a much clearer / better image than this Armasight.
I sent the scope back to Armasight and I was told that it “passed all inspections and was working as it should.”
Also, the Feyachi is a fraction of the cost of the Armasight.

Product is GOOD, Manual is BAD
Rugged, well built thermal scope!! But comeon guys, put a little bit of work into writing a manual that is easy to follow.

Perfect size
I was shopping around for a thermal for several months before I decided on this 35mm 640 from Armasight. All I knew was that I wanted a 640 for close range (out to 200 yards or less) and that I wanted something durable that would last the abuse. A friend of mine saw Armasight at Shot Show and told me about the Contractor. After looking into it I had a few questions, I called up Armasight and they answered all my questions and then some. Great scope, exactly what I needed for hog hunting out of a side-by-side and the customer service is top notch.
