I didn't like the design of that thing at first, but image quality and easy to understand menu compensated everything. Even it may appear not as comfprtable as flir scouts for example, but it's doing its job flawlessly and I'm able to detect hogs at 500+ yards, and it's much better from what I used...

Naturally, the Helios won’t reach the quality that could give you the models with the price around $7,000, but, honestly, I didn’t see any reason to pay so much more if this baby can satisfy all my needs.
Choosing the device I paid attention to weight, E-Zoom, interface and battery life as these features were vital to me. First three points were perfect, but standard operational time seemed to be too little for me, so I had some doubts. To deal with this problem, I bought extended battery power supply and quite happy with my decision, no regrets.
