Know the true capability of your night vision unit.
I recently purchased the IR810 Long Range Infrared Illuminator to go with my Armasight Spark, both bought for Optics Planet, the illuminator was able to extend the Spark's vision by 60-70 yards in pitch black darkness, with several different power options on the illuminator you are able to adjust from short range to long range power as needed, which makes viewing more uniform and enjoyable, let me just say you do not know the capability of your night vision until you use an external high powered illuminator, the built in IR illuminators that come with your night vision device is nothing compar...

this illuminator does what it is advertised to do... illuminate. I have it w my pvs14 and it heightens the distance and crispness of the image. I can't wait to go after some coons and opossums for fun
