Total disappointment - not as advertised!! - Armasight IR810 Infrared Illuminator for Night Vision Monoculars

I got this as an accessory for the Armasight Opmod Monocular (a great product!). The description says that it is not visible to "the naked eye" - which is accurate, if your naked eye is unable to see a 1-inch wide bright red light. Seriously - it is a bright red light attached to your head, totally visible to others. When you add that the mount will not fit with the Armasight Monocular, it is a total disappointment. If you're looking for an inexpensive tactical IR Illuminator, this is NOT it.
Pros: Bright IR illumination
Cons: Bright red light, weaver mount won't attached to Armasight Opmod Monocular
