Tried a couple of different NV scopes from different manufacturers and honestly wasn't completely thrilled with their performance. I'm dying to have thermal but I feel like it's performance and pricing will only get better so I decided to just get a better NV scope for my coyote hunting needs. I have to say this scope has performed great and the included IR850 illuminator is a beast. I have invested in quite a few illuminators and non come close to matching the performance of the Armasight IR850.
