A while ago I’ve purchased Armasight Ninox Night Vision Dual Tube Goggle Gen 1+. If to keep in mind that this is Gen 1+ device, the image is great and the price is corresponding. I use night vision when I go fishing and I was told that Gen 1+ is enough for my average ranges (50-70 yards) considering conditions on the surface. The matter is that water reflects stars and moon ambient light which is just enough for my Ninox to absorb it and provide good picture. In my opinion if you use night vision in open spaces and distances are up to 80 yards there is no need to pay more.

good unit
For a generation 1, this unit performs great! Of course it is not upper class goggles but I really got more than I expected! I ordered them booth with the additional IR but even without it Ninox works good. Usually I use head mount as it keeps my hands free so it is very convenient way for me. I appreciate that in spite of the Gen 1the quality of Armasight Ninox doesn't differ too much from the Gen 2, for example, I mean the housing and the strengths. Well, I know it for sure as I have some experience with the optics. So my choice is Armasight Ninox!
