Be a Ghost
I bought this thing a week ago and after many sleepless nights decided to share my views on this point. First clarity is just perfect. Probably you cant expect different from the 3rd gen device buying it for app 3k$. The cool thing about it that you can adjust the brightness manually depending on what lightning conditions you are in pretty comfortable. I finally realized why that thing is called ghost you just stay stealth while you with it, but seeing everybody else.
Wish all those optional tools would be included.
Makes work easier
I am a state trooper in SC. I got Nyx-14Gen 3 Ghost for duty mainly. This white phosphorus image is something special. Comparing to my old PVS-14 I feel less eye strain after long use. The picture is also really sharp in these black and white colors. Nyx-14 Ghost works well as a spotter for hunting under SCDNR private property hunting registration.

great monocular
I use Nyx-14 Multi-Purpose Night Vision Monocular Gen 3 "Ghost" White Phosphor with Manual Gain to observe animals. It performs well in open areas even in cloudy nights and this is the way I use it. In case if your location is in woods Nyx-14 still performs successfully. White Phosphor technology is great. Seeing everything in black and white makes picture way clearer for me. Nyx-14 has everything I need and even more – automatic brightness control, built-in IR system, bright light cut-off system, etc.
