Tick's Review of Armasight Platform Ring 61 For 25.4mm/30mm Scope Tubes

I picked up this red dot mount knowing it wasn’t a premium, high‑end mount, and honestly, that’s perfectly fine for my use case. I just needed something functional, secure, and simple—and this ring delivers exactly that.

The construction is decent for the price point. It’s not built like a top‑tier mount, but it feels sturdy enough and holds a Red dot securely when properly installed. I especially appreciate that it doesn’t scratch scope tubes, as long as you take your time during installation and tighten everything evenly. The edges are smooth enough, and the clamping surfaces are clean, so damage shouldn’t be an issue if you mount it correctly.

Fitment was straightforward, and it worked with both 1‑inch and 30mm tubes thanks to the included hardware. Once tightened down, it stays in place and doesn’t shift under recoil—exactly what I needed from a no‑frills mount.

If you’re expecting premium machining or top‑tier materials, this isn’t that. But if you want a basic, functional ring that does its job without scratching your optic or costing a fortune, it’s a perfectly good option.
